Thomas Alexander are a design-led architecture and interiors studio based in London. Our practice has built a strong reputation for our bespoke designs and sensitivity to materials and place, establishing a portfolio of exceptional projects.

Our growing team holds an extensive skill set, combining a comprehensive experience of the planning process with in-depth technical knowledge to deliver projects from conception to completion. Together, we share the opinion that good design exemplifies craftsmanship and attention to detail which we achieve through developing close and collaborative relationships with our clients, contractors, and the entire design team.

Our Team

Tom and Alex met one another at school when they were 11 years old. As creative individuals, they both pursued the architectural profession and studied together during their undergraduate degree. Alex completed his master’s at the University of Cambridge before finalising his professional practise qualifications in London, where he went on to gain experience as a practising architect at several highly respected architecture studios within the education and residential sectors.

As a keen entrepreneur, Tom pursued his ambition to create a business within the sector that focused on private residential and development projects. In 2017, the pair joined to form Thomas Alexander Design Ltd, and together with their brilliant team, provide a design service that is personable, engaging, and exciting.

We have used Thomas Alexander on numerous Interior Refurbishment Contracts and he is always professional in his approach and flexible with the client brief coming up with a range of ideas and options to consider. Dealing with Tom is always very easy and he is very responsive and pulls out all the stops to meet project deadlines.

Thomas Alexander have been great to work with on the refurbishment of my home - full of ideas, good at tailoring these to what I had in mind and very easy to get on with. They've also looked after the property during the building work which has been invaluable, and I was comfortable that any issues that arose along the way were dealt with efficiently.
