Thomas Alexander were approached by Casswell & Dainow to develop a proposal for a single dwelling on a highly constrained back land site. The triangular parcel of land is accessed by foot only and is heavily planted with mature trees. The proposal was carefully formed around the site constraints to ensure the existing trees were protected and celebrated. The form was developed to minimise the impact on the adjacent gardens, and the aspect was carefully considered to control views and protect neighbouring buildings. We worked closely with the various consultants and the planning department to achieve a truly unique proposal. The project was sold by the client in 2021 and is currently in the technical design phase.
