Our project at Albert Court is one like no other. A full strip-out and refurbishment of a Grade 1 listed apartment has allowed Thomas Alexander to carefully design each new room in meticulous detail to create their own identity and push the boundaries of what is possible in a central London abode.
The kitchen as the central hub of the property has been enlarged through combining two existing rooms and is based on the concept of a grand country estate home of the same period. A full size and back-lit glass ceiling dome replicates the atmosphere experienced within a traditional orangery, where the lighting can be controlled depending on the occasion or time of day.
Vaulted ceilings and curved walls within the master bathroom are finished in earthy micro cement to create a tranquil cave-like space with arched stained-glass doors.
